Doesn't work on Android???? Great experience of this app on an apple platform, but having recently switched to an ethical phone that uses Android, I cannot get it to work - it just crashes within a few seconds of opening every.single.time! Phone is brand new, updated etc etc, and I've gone through the steps of uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Continues to work just fine on my (old!) iPhone 7, but unusable on my new Android device 🤷♀️ Anyone else managed to get around this? Do share pls!

Good for news and long reads, Suduko keeps crashing on my phone
Excellent news coverage, incisive analysis and thought-provoking comment. Also, a wide selection of email subscriptions to keep you up to speed.
Have a full subscription with the lndependant which should include premium but keeps crashing and then tells me l have no subscription and won't let me sign in, just very annoying l give up! Rubbish.
Works fine but don't click on a podcast episode, as you'll never be able to get the podcast playback options off the bottom of the screen. I had to uninstall the app and redownload. A little ridiculous. Also doesn't seem like the news is actually updated. The Ukraine invasion page was updated 8 hours on the app, but 7 minutes ago on the website, for example.
Updates previously were 9/8/2021 & 20/8/2020. This last update just adds couple extra topics, not travel. Takes somehow forever to add topics. Pathetic investment in this apps development. Better if paying, access sign in to Independent website and save icon to home screen. Far more info. This app should be called 'Independent cheap version'
Constantly crashing now (puzzles). Journalism is great, but this app is very disappointing. There used to be a way of sending crash info to developers, doesn't appear to be any way of contacting them now ...
